The NSW Government committed $277 million to the St George Hospital Redevelopment. This redevelopment delivered a new eight-level Acute Services Building (ASB) above the existing Emergency Department. The NSW Government’s ‘fast-tracking’ of the project resulted in $30 million in savings on the original project budget. There was no change to project scope as a result of this.

The Blacktown Hospital redevelopment included a major expansion of existing services to meet increasing demand and the creation of new services to reduce the need to travel out of the area for treatment. The project also included new clinical technology and a re-evaluation of how services are delivered so their facilities can support the best contemporary hospital care.
The private health provider Cabrini commenced redevelopment of its Malvern hospital back in 2016. Now, with the newly developed ‘Gandel Wing’, the improvements will transform the available services which are currently on offer to all patients in the hospital.
